Bonnie has a heart for single mothers. She knows firsthand the heartache and struggle raising children alone. She raised her two beautiful daughters on her own as a single mother. At the age of 24, living in New York city, Bonnie became pregnant and her boyfriend abandoned her. She was scared and alone, living far from home, in the Big Apple.

Through a series of orchestrated events, God wooed her with His everlasting love. He walked by her, holding her right hand, every step of the way.

The past 24 years Bonnie has written inspirational articles and stories for various publications. She was an editor at David C Cook for four years. Bonnie wrote devotions for The Quiet Hour published by David C. Cook for several years. She also wrote and published adult lesson Bible commentary for David C. Cook Lesson Commentary. In addition to print material, she created, wrote and edited Real Life Downloaded, Bible lessons for David C. Cook’s internet site.
